V. International Relations Congress

International Energy and Security Congress

About

Today, energy is an integral part of industrialization, thus vital for national economies. Population rise, industrialization, urbanization and trade opportunities that accompany globalization have increased the demand for natural resources and energy.

Countries would like to produce cheap, clean, renewable and safe energy. At the same time, they are looking for new ways to limit dependency on foreign energy resources. It is therefore important to increase the efficiency of energy use, diversify available resources and promote the use of renewable energy. Taking measures against environmental pollution, which is associated with energy use and non-renewable resources, is equally important.

Energy is vital for industry and transportation in the 21st century. The main purpose of the congress is providing a detailed analyses of diverse topics, such as renewable energy resources and the use of renewable energy, economics and politics of energy, countries’ energy policies and their supply strategies, the future of fossil fuels, oil and natural gas pipelines and their security, international projects on energy, nuclear energy, nuclear power plants and their technologies.

The Congress, which is going to point out to the role of energy in international relations, energy resources and conflict, energy and national security, security of energy supply and transportation, new technologies on energy, energy and environmental security, and Turkey’s energy supply security; will be:
